By no means just a pretty face, this li’l lady proved the big performing hit of the last two years - a serious star quality DJ with a surefire tune selection that blows up dancefloors worldwide.
Ms Pink started mixing in Summer 2000 under the moniker L'il Miss Pink and got her first set of decks shortly after, While cutting her teeth on a staple diet of vinyl she now expertly combines both CDJs with her beloved 12” collection and Serato Scratch Live – the best of all worlds – who says you can’t have your cake and eat it!
Expect a bouncy concoction of dirty, chunky electro house, mashed and scratched up with big anthem vocals and filthy basslines, concocting an electrifying, bubbling atmosphere to ance floors across the Globe! The performance is all about entertainment – her excitement and passion on the decks is like no other. Her medley of mixing techniques and selections keeps her sets creatively unpredictable and lively, working the crowd up a storm – a performance style which has been described as "making magic on the decks"!
Ms Pink is based in Brighton, England - that beachfront musical melting pot made famous by Fatboy Slim and the preferred base for all things cool and funky in the UK – a perfect DJ playground to hone her skills and mix alongside the very best in star quality and underground credibility in various bars and clubs across the South Coast. Breakthrough residencies included urban night 'Switch' at the Ocean Rooms in Brighton, Empire/ Mud Club in Bognor Regis, Obsession at the Beach Club and Funkylicious at the Zap Club (now Digital).
It was only a matter of time before the radio waves washed over Miss Pink, and she was offered a prime time slot on Brighton's only pirate radio station, Future FM.
In summer 2006 Pink came 1st in the Brighton heat of the Movida Corona World DJ competition and went on to represent Brighton at the Opera House in Bournemouth in September of that year. being snapped up by the UKs leading agents. The rest as they say is history with this sassy Ms bringing the Pink to many countries, including tours of China, India, Finland Germany, Macedonia Jersey, France Belgium and Spain and is now a regular guest at parties all over Asia, going down a storm with her energetic DJ sets – oh yes, this girl can really pump!
However Miss Pink never misses an opportunity to pay back her roots and and she found time to return to a a very welcome home crowd as regular guest DJ appearances at Brighton based breaks night Beat Circus. Theres nothing Pink likes better than having a capacity crowd to demonstrate her flexibility to, DJing alongside freestyling musicians and adding a live dimension to her trademark sets.
Ms Pink, secured a residency supporting the world famous Fuel Girls production tour in association with Hot Import Nights, accompanying them on their European Tour, playing to huge festival crowds as well being selected for their world renowned booty shaking competitions. 2009 carried on in the same vein playing out to wild crowds in Madrid, Perpignan and the Ultimate Street Car Festival at the world famous Santa Pod Raceway,
Pink widened her music style portfolio which saw her becoming popular for cool corporate events, and in 2010 saw Ms Pink join Vital Music's female DJ collective "Headphones and Heels", working alongside some of the UKs pioneer female DJs such as Lisa Unique, Femme Fatale, and more recent glamour DJ Lauren Pope, a further boost to her industry profile.
2011 started off with a spicey NYE event in Mumbai, followed on by the a female DJ event for Carlsberg at the Palms Resort Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, opening and closing parties in Pag Croatia and the start of a new residency with the Ministry of Sound Tours around the UK. Ms Pink headlined the 2nd Clubbers Guide tour, subsequently billing for their World Tour, with a perfect debut for the tour in Moldo
va on NYE 2011.
2012 looks to be just as busy with re-bookings in Mumbai alongsideAlexandra Stan and Akcent in Mumbai in Feb and in Kolkata a few days later, closely followed by Pacha in Egypt for Hed Kandi. Between her UK and international tour engagements Ms Pink is a regular feature of the Hotcakes Boat Parties alongside DJ Deekline, Ed Solo, JFB and the Stanton Warriors.
As our latest female DJ signing at Sparkle Ms Pink looks set to continue her rise during 2012 - with her massive tunes and buzzing attitude, her passion for music, enchanting good looks, and outstanding stage presence the future looks rosy, or perhaps we should say......Pink!
