OUR BACKGROUND        Sparkle Agency was established back in the early 1990s - when our Agency Director, anticipating that his own DJ career would only continue for a few years more due to a recurring hearing problem still had the desire to be very involved in the dance music industry, as well as having the contacts to help others progress in their performing careers.  This coupled with the emergence of new digital music formats and communication technology all fused together in an idea for a new type of online DJ agency.  dj agency | dj agencies | dj agencys | book dj | dj booking | book live act | book dancers | book performer So Sparkle became the World's very first web-based DJ agency.  Admittedly there was a lot of thumb twiddling going on for a couple of years before the web became more widely known and used, but this gave us ample opportunity to try things out, develop our roster and improve our exposure. Our vision proved extremely successful, demonstrating to the dance music community and booking industry.what could be achieved in the new media and setting the industry standard. Through that and various other firsts, we earned a reputation for innovation and much of the ideas that we introduced are now common practice throughout the DJ and indeed othere areas of entertainment booking and promotion. Many years on, and now encompassing a much wider spectrum of entertainment, we are established as one of UK's leading international DJ and artist bookers with particular expertise in the dance music market. We continue to explore new ideas and we thrive on being on the leading edge (and often the bleeding edge) of the booking industry. 2011 is no exception as we celebrate our 18th birthday with the launch of our new iPhone/iPad/Tablet/Smartphone website and a brand new Sparkle logo which we hope will become just as familiar as our old one.  We also pride ourselves on our ethical booking policy and reliability record, and we value and encourage long-term booking relationships and many of our customers return to book time and again and over the years some have become firm friends - we hope you will too.
