WE COLLECT
This notice applies
to all information collected or submitted to us via the website
and/or by email correspondence. Most instances of interation
with Sparkle are - applying to join our roster, making requests
for information, making bookings for performers or commissioning
design work. The types of personal information that may be collected
varies in each situation but would normally be of the following;
Identity and
contact details. Skills & Performance Experience. Banking
and Finacial Information. Travel Documentation. Contracts.
Photos. Audio and video recordings of performances. Sender
IP Addresses (from our webforms).
COOKIES
& TRACKING
We absolutely
collect no cookies or write cookies to your machine in any way
or run any sort of tracking software other than our page hit
counters - used purely for our own statistical analysis. We
receive and record IP addresses from our web booking forms -
these are recorded in case of need to block malicious users of
our booking forms. Please also see notes re third party
websites and advertisers below.
THE
WAY WE USE INFORMATION
We use the information
you provide about yourself when placing an order for services
or making a booking only to complete that order. We do not share
this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary
to complete that order. However Sparkle Agency reserves the right
to reveal this information pursuant to a valid court order.
By joining our
roster, all artists and suppliers agree to the disclosure of
such information about themselves as the agency deem appropriate
for the purposes of following up enquiries for services or performance
bookings. This includes the publishing of professional information
about them and their activities in print and electronic form.
We use return
email addresses to answer the email we receive and to send occasional
email updates about our services to appropriate recipients. Such
addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared
with outside parties without the specific authority of the sender
except to the extent necessary to complete a performance booking
or order for services, or to take up a third party reference.
OUR
COMMITTMENT TO DATA SECURITY
To prevent unauthorized
access our websites are hosted with reputable leading ISP' s,
we maintain proprietry firewalls on our own PC's and maintain
appropriate physical and electronic procedures to safeguard data
within our office. All our PC's run the latest anti-virus
software and have active virus protection and incoming and outgoing
email virus scanning.
OUR
COMMITTMENT TO PROTECT CHILDREN
Protecting the
privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason,
we never collect or maintain information at our website or office
from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our
website is structured to attract anyone under 16. Our own content
and specific advertising is business-like and does not contain
"adult" material and is not written in a manner which
would should cause children or their parents concern. However,
please be aware that some third party link sites and served adverts
may contain inappropriate references - see note below.

PARTY WEBSITES & ADVERTISING
This website
may provide links to third-party websites. Any such links are
provided solely as a convenience to our visitors. Sparkle has
no control over these websites or their content and does not
assume any responsibility or liability for these websites. If
you access any of the third-party websites linked to our website,
you do so at your own risk - most are musically orientated but
may occasionally contain strong language, adult humour or references
to alternative cultures, including drug use. Sparkle Agency in
no way condones or encourages the sale, possession or misuse
of drugs, but recognises the freedom of the individual to express
their own views on third-party websites, which some persons may
find disagreeable.
This website
carries third party advertising - in most instances the advertisers
are known to us and advertise products and services appropriate
to this site, however from time to time we do use banner exchange
and served advertising. We do not knowingly feature any
adult or gambling advertsing however Sparkle Agency has no direct
control over remotely served advertising content or the products
and services which may be offered and does not assume any responsibility
or liability for these advertisments or the products and services
represented thereon, although as a policy we instruct all adserver
partners to disbar serving adverts for adult, gambling and similar
services.
It is very likely
that some third party websites and remotely served advertising
may use cookies when you click through to them.
SPAM
& VIRUSES
We hate and destest
spam - we get bombarded with masses of it (about 2000+ spam mails
per day) so we know how it feels. We do not use indiscriminate
e-mail marketing lists, web harvesting, auto mass mailings or
auto opt-in mailing lists. Our inbound and outbound mail
servers are protected by commercial standard virus checking software
We are a reputable
commercial organisation and of course we need to market and advertise
to thrive and survive, however this is conducted responsibly
and manually targeted to specific individual commercial organisations
such as venues, promoters, club nights and event management organisations
and existing customers/organisation who have previously contacted
us and where we genuinely believe our services and artists will
be of real interest. We don't send weekly newsletters filled
with inconsequential trivia for the sake of it, but we do occasionally
send an updated roster or notify you of any major changes to
our services, as you would expect any professional organisation
to do for their valued customers.
Anyone not wishing
to receive future information from us please may contact us and
will immediately be removed from our campaign lists forever by
emailing us HERE or replying to any e-mail
with the word UNSUBSCRIBE as the subject line.
