General Information
We
don't charge an agency booking fee to promoters and in most cases no VAT (sales
tax) either - saving you a whopping 35% over many other agencies
rates. All artists are offered direct from our own
roster - that means we have closer control
over the artists bookings, travel arrangements, and communication. This of one of the reasons we have a 14-year 100% unbroken
artist appearance record worldwide. To our knowledge no
other professional agency can match this.
Unless
otherwise stated in the contract the Artist will perform for
a maximum 2-hours in the Artists usual manner and/or style.
All
enquiries, negotiations, and bookings whether by verbal, written,
or electronic means are subject to our terms and conditions of
business - by using our services you are agreeing to abide by
them. Please read them carefully before booking. If
you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us -
we are here to help you.
We
welcome enquiries for provisional bookings. We can
usually hold date options for 5-10 days, but please give our
artists the courtesy of letting us know promptly if you no longer
wish to take up the date/s, thank you.

do not confirm a booking unless are able to pay - we do not
offer credit or 'on the night' payment tems . Bookings must be paid for within 10 working
days of the Bookers acceptance of booking contract agreement, issue unless specified otherwise in the contract (ie 3 or 7 days for shorter notice events).
The following are a summary of the main booking terms - contract terms vary from artist to artist and take precedence over our standard terms take precedence, please read and check your contract.

UK employment legislation representing artists for the purposes
of contracting them for temporary occasional work with Bookers

business agreements are deemed to have been made in England and
are subject to English Law.
The

all international flights, internal travel and hotel accommodation
and board and any visas, work permits, licensing and performance permits as required
by local law unless otherwise stated in the contract. The Agency
will provide the Booker with flight and other travel information - all flight itinerarie smust be approved by the Agency before Booker makes reservation.

In the event of that
any part of the fee remains unpaid or travel or accommodation
documents not received within reasonable time for the Artist
to plan his/her travel, the booking shall be void and the Artist
will not be obliged to fulfil the engagement. The Artist or the
Agency shall give no refund of any portion of the fee or travel
and accommodation expenses.
Cancellation etc
We understand that things
don't always run to plan and cancellations happen. If your
event is cancelled or postponed after the contract is agreed and you have paid please tell us immediately.
If the event or booking
is cancelled or postponed for whatever reason the Agency and the Agency shall
not be obliged to refund of any portion of the Artists fee already
paid.
The Artist will take
all reasonable steps to fulfil the engagement or advise the Booker
of any problem or delay or non-arrival where this is both possible,
practical, and permitted by the authorities.
If for any reason the
Artist cannot fulfil the engagement for reasons outside the Artist's
control, including but not limited to acts of God, civil unrest,
severe weather conditions, travel delays or breakdown of vehicles
not owned by the Artist, flight cancellation or overbooking of
flights or customs/immigration problems or damage or loss or
confiscation of records or equipment en route or non-availability
of accommodation or insufficient or incorrect directions to venue
or refusal of entry to venue or similar occurrences outside of
the Artist control the booking will be considered to be void
and no refund of any portion of the fee or travel or accommodation
expenses will be made to the Booker by the Artist or the Agency.

the Booker and where possible shall offer a replacement Artist
of similar style and profile. All travel/accommodation costs
for the replacement Artist shall be at the expense of the Booker.
The non-performing Artist shall refund the full fee and return
any unused tickets or accommodation vouchers to the Agency when this is possible. The
Agency will take reasonable steps to assist with the transfer
of any travel or accommodation documentation to the replacement
Artist providing this is practical in the time available, and
that any charges relating to the transfer are paid for by the
Booker.
Where a replacement artist
is not required or is unavailable Artists are required to return all fees to the
Agency The Agency will return such monies
to the Booker less any bank charges incurred in the transfer.
IMPORTANT Bookers should note that
many economy and discount flight fares are extremely restrictive
in regard to cancellation, change of passenger, or change of
flight and in some cases no refund or change is allowed by the
airline or ticket agent. Neither the Agency or the Artist are
responsible for additional charges which may occur as a result
of the Bookers choice of ticket. The cheaper the ticket the less likely it allows for any transfer.
Despite our unbroken
artist appearance record to date, for any event where a no-show
could cause financial risk the Booker
must take out appropriate insurance to cover any direct and consequential
loss that may occur. Neither the Artist nor the Agency are liable for any direct or consequential loss as a result of a no-show.
The Booker agrees that
The Artist shall have the right to cancel the engagement without
liability upon written or electronic notice to The Booker no
later than 10 days prior to the date of the performance in the
event that the Artist is called upon to render their services
for a major radio or TV appearance, performance or recording,
a motion picture or any other major career-advancing opportunity.
Should this situation occur the Artist may be able to offer a
mutually acceptable re-scheduled date to The Booker at the same
performance fee as the original engagement.
In the event of a re-scheduled
date not being acceptable to the Booker or feasible for the Artist,
the Artist will return net fees paid to them by The Agency and
if applicable, return any air or travel tickets already physically
provided to the Artist. The Agency will remit these to the Booker
less any bank charges incurred.
The Agency does not refund
charges, fees, bank or other transaction charges
incurred during any part of the booking process to any party
under any circumstances.
Future/ Repeat Bookings
Repeat bookings from
the same Booker or organisation and new bookings resulting from
the artists performance detailed in this contract must be made
through the Agency.
Artists Own Conditions/Riders
Booking contracts may
contain additional terms and conditions information specific
to the artist or tour relating to technical or personal riders, advertising / billing, flight
times, personal requirements, broadcast and recording rights,
sponsorship, cancellation fees etc so please read contract terms
carefully to avoid misunderstandings (contract terms take precedence
over standard terms). |
